The Rules of the Site
The Principles Behind the Rules
Charmed Fan Club is meant to be a fun, interesting and helpful website for fans of Charmed to discuss the show, get to know one another and chat about a wide range of topics either about the show or on other topics.
At Charmed Fan Club we want everyone to get along, the forum to run smoothly and the site to be kept within the limits of our hosting provider's Terms of Service and the law. For this to happen we have written this set of rules that should govern the behaviour of all our members, whether new, old, normal member or staff.
The Essence of the Rules
Simply put we just ask that users be respectful to others, do not spam the forum and do not post anything that is illegal or unsuitable for an audience of 13 years old and up.
The Rules
Rule 1: The Golden Rule. Be nice to other people.
Remember that every member of this site is a person. People are not perfect. They may fall out and disagree. They may not get on and not like each other very much. They may get angry. They may say things they do not mean. Try to understand and forgive and not respond in a nasty way. In the same way, remember that you might seem mean or stupid to other people just like you might think others are mean or stupid.
Rule 2: Don't spam the forum.
We all hate spam adverts and pointless posts. Try not to do it.
Rule 3: Make sure your posts are suitable for the forum.
This means your posts should not be offensive, racist, sexist, homophobic, plain old mean, contain illegal or adult content, swearing, hateful material or anything else like that.
Rule 4: You must be 13 years old or over to join this site.
This is the law in the United States (where our web host is based). If we had our way anyone would be able to join, but it is the law.
Rule 5: Don't steal.
Don't steal from this site. Don't steal from other sites and put the stolen material here and claim it is your own. Stealing is illegal. You should also always host any images you put in your posts to on your own website or on a free hosting website: linking them from another site without permission is also against the law.
Rule 6: Listen to the staff and read the notices and stickied threads.
The staff are here to help you and to keep the site running, the announcements, stickies and any notices sent out by e-mail or Private Message are there to help you and to tell you any specific rules, news or information you need to know about. Please read them and listen to what the staff tell you.

If you're still not sure, ask a member of the Forum Staff.
If you spot someone breaking the forum rules, please follow the steps given HERE.
