CFC Forum Awards

What This is All About

Originally when the site was first created, maggie used to award the 'Charmed Favourite' award to one member each month by having a poll which any member could vote in. As the forum has grown, so have the number of awards and - because of the large number of members on the site - the winners are now chosen by the staff (the poll system can't handle the number of people we could possibly nominate each month).

There are lots of things people do on the forum that deserve recognising and recording and so there are also awards for graphics work, creative writing, posting regularly and all sorts of things.

How it Works

Each month the staff will post a thread in this board announcing the winner of the Charmed Favourite and any other awards for the month. Winners receive a special rank (with a blue-coloured username, blue stars and special icon) for the month after they receive an award. This will then be given to the next month's winner(s) when they are announced and so on.

As well as the special rank, all awards are recorded permanently beneath your forum rank in your profile and you may also get other rewards for winning (depending on the award you win - see below for details). As an award winner you may also request a permanently coloured username in the colour of your choice.

Charmed Favourite

What this award is for: Charmed Favourites are chosen on the basis of contribution to the forum, regular posting activity, helping out with things (such as graphics design, running competitions etc.) and so on.
What you get for winning this award: +50 posts, +5 reputation (karma) and your name permanently listed HERE.
Special requirements to get this award: None.

Graphics Guru Award

What this award is for: Exceptional graphics and artwork.
What you get for winning this award: +50 posts.
Special requirements to get this award: None.

The Master Writer Award

What this award is for: Exceptional creative writing work.
What you get for winning this award: +50 posts.
Special requirements to get this award: None.

The LOL!!! Award

What this award is for: Making us laugh out loud. This can be with a picture, video, joke or just something you said that we find funny.
What you get for winning this award: +25 posts.
Special requirements to get this award: None.

Span Ninja Award

What this award is for: For posting insane amounts of posts in a particular month.
What you get for winning this award: Infamy.
Special requirements to get this award: Posting a hell of a lot in a short period of time. These must be QUALITY POSTS - not pointless spam!
